Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has endured around Rs 20 million losses in the last five days

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has endured around Rs 20 million losses in the last five days due to ‘go slow call’ by Pakistan Airline Pilots’ Association (PALPA).

Managing Director PIA Captain Ejaz Haroon Tuesday told newsmen that the national airline has suffered losses due to non-cooperation of pilots as from 20 to 25 pilots are demanding leaves simultaneously.

“Also replacements refuse to perform extra duties. Their normal duty hours are 10 hours, if need arises, they are asked to perform extra duties which could be stretched upto 16 hours.”
